Health care and Medical Aid

Our medical division has identified four urgent areas of support needed in Southern Sri Lanka, the largest portion of which relates to the psychological effects of the tsunami.

In total, £21,000 needs to be raised.

• £3,000 for purchase of Medicines and Medical Supplies in order to meet ongoing immediate needs and local shortages to be administered in the Galle area
• £3,000 for Ayurvedic Herbal Medicines for the complete restocking of the Mahabala dispensary in Galle that was completely destroyed by the Tsunami.
• £3,000 for the Woman’s Health Project
• £12,000 for the Therapeutic Storytelling and Psycho-drama Project
